Every follower of the Sikh religion aspires to take the Panj Takt Tour of India at least once in their lives. This Panj Takt Tour of India will take you to all five of India's well-known Takht (Gurudwaras), each of which is significant to the Sikh faith. On this Panj Takht Tour, we will visit the Takhts Sri Akal Takht Sahib (Amritsar), Sri DamdamaTakht Sahib (Bhatinda), Sri KeshgarhTakht Sahib (Ropar), Sri HazurTakht Sahib (Nanded), and Sri Patna Takht Sahib (Patna). In Sikhism, Takhts are primarily the top thrones or seats of temporal power and religious authority. All of these locations have a profound spiritual and emotional effect on visitors. This 10-day Sikh pilgrimage will start at Amritsar and end at Hyderabad.

Detailed Itinerary for Panj Takt Tour of India( 10 Days )

Day 01 Arrive Amritsar
Arrive at Amritsar international airport and meet our company representative at the arrival hall. We will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 02 Akal Takht Sahib
After breakfast visit to Akal Takht Sahib. Eternal Throne is what Akal Takhat Sahib implies. It is a part of the Amritsar Golden Temple complex as well. Guru HargobindJi, the sixth Sikh Guru, laid its foundation. A corridor connects the Akal Takhat to the Harmandir Sahib, which is located across the street. Akal Takht, the structure next to the Golden Temple, has a special significance. The Akal Takhat represents the administration of justice and temporal activities, whilst the Golden Temple represents spiritual instruction. Before entering the battlefields in the past, all Sikh warriors came here to ask for blessings. During the 18th century, when Sikhs were waging a clandestine conflict in the woods, they used to assemble at the Akal Takht for festivals like Vaisakhi.
In the evening you may take an excursion to Wagah Border to witness daily flag lowering ceremony at India-Pakistan Border.

Day 03 Amritsar to Bathinda (4 hour drive/190 kilometers)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Bathinda. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. In afternoon visit to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. The settlement of Talwandi Sabo, which is close to Bathinda, is home to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. In 1705, Guru Gobind Singh spent almost a year in this location compiling the final version of the Guru Granth Sahib, also known as the Damdama Sahib Bir. On November 18, 1966, Damdama Sahib was declared the fifth takht.

Day 04 Bathinda to Chandigarh (3 hour drive/120 kilometers)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, visit to the Rock Gardens, Rose Garden and enjoy the relaxing boat ride on Shukna Lake.
Enjoy your evening in Chandigarh by strolling around the market and taste some Punjabi food.

Day 05 Excursion to Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib (3 hour drive one way)
Early morning leave for an excursion to Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib.Anandpur Sahib is home to Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib. The Khalsa, which was established here by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699, was born there. Here are several of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's weaponry on exhibit.
In the evening return back to Chandigarh for overnight.

Day 06 Chandigarh to Patna (by Domestic flight)
In the morning, transfer to Chandigarh airport to board the flight to Patna. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and later in the afternoon visit to the Takht Sri Patna Sahib.
The Takht Sri Patna Sahib is located in Patna, which serves as the state capital of Bihar. Before migrating to Sri Anandpur Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh Ji spent his early years here, where he was born in 1666. Along with being the city where Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born, Patna also saw the visits of Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji and Guru TeghBahadur Sahib Ji. Mata GujriJi, the mother of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, also resided here.

Day 07 Patna to Hyderabad (by Domestic flight) & Drive to Nanded (5 hour drive)
After breakfast, transfer to Patna airport to board the flight to Hyderabad. Upon arrival in Hyderabad, transfer to Nanded.
Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and evening is free at leisure for own activities.

Day 08 Takht Sri Hazur Sahib
Day free to spend at Takht Sri Hazur Sahib. Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh spiritual leader, arrived in Nanded, His permanent residence, in 1708. He was the one who spread the message among the Sikhs that they did not require a human guru to follow Him and that they should accept Guru Granth Sahib Ji as their living guru since there is no distinction between Him and the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. At the spot where Guru Gobind Singh Ji's body merged with the omnipresent, a memorial called the Angitha Sahib was built (funeral pyre). The Takht, also known as ThaktSachkand Sri Hazoor Sri Abchal Nagar, was built up around the Angitha Sahib.

Day 09 Nanded to Hyderabad (6 hour drive/275 kilometers)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Hyderabad. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later in the afternoon visit to iconic Charminar and Golconda Fort in Hyderabad.

Day 10 Departure
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Hyderabad airport to board the flight to onward journey.
